Gabriela Maria Ramirez Salaverria (from El Salvador) (KIF): Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain
They were very welcoming towards Erasmus students. I felt well received by this institution. It helped that I spoke Spanish. If I ever had a question or a doubt, there was always someone to answer it. And Valencia, well, just wow, it was a pleasure to study and live there. Definitely going to miss Gandia! An incredible adventure.
It was an amazing experience and it was greater because of the people I got to meet, friends and acquaintances. Teachers as well since they were really kind and good to me. I didn't feel alienated or anything. The university does a lot of activities that help in integrating yourself and interact with classmates. I would totally recommend this experience, especially studying in the UPV, because it's located in a beautiful town called Gandia where you have the beach super close and the townpeople are so warm and carry themselves with a smile on their faces. They are really cheerful. I am satisfied with my Erasmus journey because I got to learn so much, from a study perspective but also a cultural perspective. Met so many people from a lot of countries.
