Psenicnik David - University of Ljubljana / Slovenia

My name is David and I come from Slovenia. I came to Lithuania in February 2025. The day I arrived it was starting to snow a little bit, and I love snow. The dormitory is situated near a beautiful forest with elegant tall trees. What I really liked about my stay here is the proximity to the gym that was free if you registered at the start of the semester. I also used the track near the gym for running. The city of Vilnius is quite interesting, very comfortable city to live in and full of little surprises. 

I explored the old town a lot, filled with different shops and restaurants. The public spaces are really clean and enjoyable. When the weather is nice, the city is full of life, streets are filled with people and the public spaces become a vibrant place of exchange. I really liked the access to the river, and the area near the white bridge, where the skatepark and basketball courts are. I met some great people along the way, that I can call my friends now and I am grateful for my experience. What really made my stay nice is the nature, the lakes, the sea, forests.
