Great and very experienced professors, engaging courses, and a stimulating study environment Politecnico di Milano – both a challenging and rewarding university to spend your Erasmus exchange at. As a Space Engineering student, one of my academic highlights was collaborating with a university team on the preliminary design of a payload for Titan, Saturn’s largest moon, to measure its surface temperature. Meanwhile, my friends from the same university were working on the design of an actual rocket. Yes, indeed—it is rocket science, and it’s incredibly cool! Another significant highlight was attending the International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2024), hosted in Milan during my exchange. This provided a unique opportunity to meet space industry leaders, gain insights into cutting-edge advancements in space engineering, and expand my professional network.
