Internship at Youth 4 Future LTD

I attended this internship with a project funded by the MITA (ASIT) instrument “Inostart” for the development of the lower part exoskeleton system, which is directly related to the topic of my studies. As close contacts were already limited at that time, the internship provided a very good opportunity to carry out the tasks of this project. During the internship, I created mechanical details, tested the operation of the mechatronic system with several types of sensors. I also periodically presented all this to my internship supervisor, with whom we talked about the possibilities of developing my project. He provided many useful insights. 

As the company works with local and international science and business projects, it was interesting and useful to compare the support provided in Lithuania and the UK to start-ups and experienced companies for the implementation of science and business ideas. The head of “Youth 4 Future” introduced the already completed projects, it was a great opportunity to see the requirements for the project description, implementation process, and final documents. He introduced the differences between the EU and its countries, the nuances that can really help to shorten the paths to achieve the desired result in the future. 

The Erasmus + program is a really great opportunity to get into conditions that are easy enough to improve with geometric progression rather than arithmetic. In a foreign country, the mind and thinking are constantly turned on because the environment is unfamiliar, in another language, which, without a good level of language, must constantly search for the words needed in memory. A very good financial system that assesses the nuances of the destination country and assesses the potential costs accordingly. Unreal conditions for making various acquaintances, getting to know the country and its culture. All the possibilities to realize the two main things of each trip: Sapere Aude and Carpe Diem.
